Suede is the reverse side of bovine leather that is buffed to give it a soft and supple texture. It comes from farms in Rio Grande do Sul. It is tanned in Brazil, according to REACH standards. Water usage is reasoned during the tanning process. This suede is then coated with water-repellent oils free from PFCs (chemical compounds) to protect the sneakers from light rain.
