The company EKYOG (as defined in Article 1 below) sells ready-to-wear items and accessories on the website www.ekyog.com (hereinafter the “Site”), its IOS and Android mobile applications (the “Applications”), and in physical stores under the “EKYOG” brand (the “Stores”).
In order to offer for sale, sell, and deliver its products, EKYOG collects personal data (the “Data”) from users of the Site, the Applications, and its customers during purchases made in the Stores (collectively hereinafter referred to as the “Users”).
The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform Users of the means implemented to collect, consult, process, and store User Data.
EKYOG is committed to complying with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and French Law No. 78/17 of 6 January 1978, as amended.

- Who is the Data Controller of your personal data?
The company EKYOG SAS, with share capital of €10,000.00, whose registered office is located at 20 RUE NOTRE DAME DE NAZARETH, 75003 PARIS, registered under number 809 071 855 RCS Paris, is the data controller that collects personal data and implements data processing (the “Data Controller”).
The Data Controller is the one who determines the purposes and means of Data processing, i.e., the objective and the way to achieve it.
For the purposes of the Privacy Policy, the terms “Process” or “Processing” refer to any operation or set of operations performed on Data, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.
The term “Data” refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable User, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, location data, or one or more specific factors.
- When do we collect personal data?
We collect your Data when you interact with us or our services, when you use the Site or the Applications to place an order, as well as during purchases or events organized in Stores. We also observe how Users use the Site to help us improve our services and optimize our customer experience.
- What personal data is collected?
We collect the following personal data:
- User Account Data: Data that the User provides when creating their account by filling out the registration form (first name, last name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, password for connecting to the customer account).
- Order-related data: User information relating to orders placed and returns such as transaction number, details of purchases, purchase amount, information relating to their payment method, data relating to invoice settlement (payments, unpaid debts, discounts), product returns.
- Navigation-related data: refers to the Data that the Data Controller collects during the User’s navigation on the Site and Applications such as, in particular, the date, time of connection and/or navigation, browser type, browser language, IP address, location and geolocation data.
- Exchanges with customer service.
- Data necessary for loyalty and prospecting actions: purchase history.
Data relating to payment methods (credit card number, expiration date, authorization number, security code) are collected directly by our service providers Payplug and Paypal. EKYOG never has access to its customers' payment data.
We may collect Data directly from you (for example, when you purchase a product in a Store) or indirectly on various supports (for example, from your electronic devices that interact with our Site, electronic forms, or Applications). Some Data may be combined.
Third-party application providers linking to our Site and/or our Applications, as well as the networks on which we publish content (such as Facebook and Instagram), may also use automated tools to collect User Data (online activity profiling). This data collection is carried out directly by these service providers and/or third parties and is subject to their privacy policy. To the extent permitted by applicable law, EKYOG is not responsible for the practices of these service providers and third parties.
Some services may be impaired or inaccessible in the absence of consent to the collection of the Data mentioned in this Privacy Policy.
- What are the purposes of Data collection?
The regulations in force protect the privacy of Users and require any data controller to be able to justify a legitimate basis for such processing. The regulations thus provide, among the legal bases for processing:
- the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, such as a sales contract. Thus, certain User Data is necessary to deliver the goods, manage the customer account, and process returns.
- compliance with a legal obligation, particularly accounting by the retention of invoices.
- the prior consent of the data subject;
- the legitimate interest of the data controller, in compliance with the rights and freedoms of users. Thus, improving the customer experience or preventing fraud may justify Data collection.
